Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club played host to a pair of international sailing regattas last week, attracting more than a dozen 2.4mR class racers to Charlotte Harbor.

Bruce Millar of Vancouver won the 2.4mR North American championship by four points over Allan Leibel of Montreal. The three-day event was staged Dec. 4-6. John Finch of Toronto rounded out a top three sweep for Canada. Nick Bryan-Brown of Port Charlotte finished 10th overall after 11 races.
