The Venice Indians will conclude spring football when they travel to Lakeland Friday night to take on the Dreadnaughts.
Coming out of Lakeland with a win might be a bit ambitious. The Dreadnaughts have been among the state’s best programs for the last couple decades, winning five state championships since 1996. Meanwhile, the Indians are still trying to acclimate to new quarterback Dom Marino, and vice versa.
