When the Venice Indians lost 3-1 to Seminole Feb. 15 to even their record at a modest 1-1, head coach Craig Faulkner said, “We’re going to lose some games this year because we play a tough, tough schedule. We’re gonna lose; it’s not a big deal.”

It was a big deal to his team, apparently, because the Indians didn’t do much losing after that night.
