Local sailor eyes 2016 Olympics

What started as a hobby at the Venice Youth Boating Association (VYBA) has turned into the best decision Fred Strammer ever made.

Strammer, a Nokomis resident, was recently named to the 2013 U.S. Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider, the country’s national team comprised of the top sailors in the nation.
