The Pine View after-school tennis kids struck again as they grounded out a hard-fought win to become the 12-and-under champions of the Team Tennis Junior League. Coaches Jim and Brenda Mertz said the win was a team effort.

From Oct. 6 to Dec. 1 matches were played every Saturday against other clubs in Sarasota County, with the Pythons building a 7-1 record.
