Harold (Hal) E. White, 90, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.
Hal served in World War II in the Air Force. He retired from Florida Power & Light. He and Margaret spent their retirement years traveling. They are longtime Venice residents and also had a summer home in the Georgia mountains.
Hal was a founding member of the Englewood Chapter of Masons and a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Hal is survived by the love of his life, Margaret; son, Rodger, of Tampa; daughters, Debbie (Joe) Perz of Hickory, N.C., and Mitzie (Bill) McGavic of Arcadia, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Grace United Methodist Church. Farley Funeral Home, Venice, is handling the arrangements. To send condolences, visit: FarleyFuneralHome.com.
