Dorothy “Dottie” Morlock, 87, of Venice, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.

She was born December 7, 1925 in Buffalo, N.Y. the daughter of George and Myrrl Eberhardt. She was a New York teacher for over 31 years. Her and her husband Ken moved to Florida in 1984.

She is preceded in death by her husband C. Kenneth Morlock in 1998. Dottie was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She belonged to Venice College Club, Sigma Kappa Sorority, and Venice- Nokomis Woman’s Club. She was also an avid bridge player and enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking. Dottie is survived by her loving family and friends.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013. at the Renaissance Room at Village on the Isle, Tamiami Trail S., Venice, FL.
