John H. “Jack” Kerin, 98, of Venice, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. He was born June 19, 1914.

Surviving family members include his wife, Diane, of Venice; daughter, Shirley Bershad of New Jersey; and grandchildren, Bonnie Zinn of Seattle, Wash., and David Bershad of Portland, Maine.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 508 Riviera St., Venice. Funeral arrangements are by ICS of Punta Gorda.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Venice, or Tidewell Hospice, Venice.
