After 22 years, Poland retires from Crow’s Nest

When you visit the Crow’s Nest Marina Tavern in Venice, there will be one familiar face missing. Bob Poland retired recently following 22 years serving at the bar.

“I could not have survived without doing this particular job serving people,” he said. “It was my therapy after coming back from those crazy wars, and over the years, all these people I met became family.”
