NORTH PORT — While spring breakers were partying on area beaches, the North Port Police Department was cracking down on crime across the city.

Dubbed “Operation No Break,” the operation focused on sexual predator offender checks, juvenile curfew checks, active arrest warrant sweeps, alcohol and tobacco compliance checks and an online sexual predator sting.
