Woodcarvers to show their sculptures Saturday

NORTH PORT — The North Port Woodcarvers Club will once again hold a show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at VFW Post 8203 to display their creations and carve out a local niche for more enthusiasts of the art.
Club president Ron Gauthier said he joined the club about three years ago, but it has been in existence for closer to eight to 10 years.
