Southwest Floridians made more money in 2011 than in the previous two years, with Sarasota County residents earning the most in this region.

The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis released the per capita personal incomes data for 2011, which revealed improvements financially for Southwest Florida as well as most of the country.
