Venice Bay Indies resident Mike Rafferty has sparked new interest in how manufactured home parks are appraised and taxed.

When Mike Rafferty complained two years ago that mobile home park appraisals were too high, Sarasota County Appraiser Bill Furst took a second look at appraisals and lowered them.
But that’s not likely to happen again.
