PORT CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Stone Crabs entered Saturday’s home opener in classic convertibles, riding one or two to a car as they were announced to the crowd at Charlotte Sports Park, many for the first time.

The flashy arrival continued into the game itself, a 4-1 victory against Palm Beach for the team’s first win of the season.
