Comeback eludes Pirates

SARASOTA — There was no miracle fourth-quarter comeback to deliver a girls basketball district title to Port Charlotte High School this time.
Sarasota made sure of that by outdefending and outmuscling the Pirates in the Sailors’ home gym — and shooting just well enough to seal the victory.
