Richard Dick Roush, shown in an undated image with his wife, Mary, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer. Roush was an active, long-time volunteer in Little League organizations in Charlotte County.
Richard “Dick” Roush always kept registrations for the Port Charlotte Little League in his blue Cadillac, just in case.
He started with the program as a coach in 1979, served on its board and spent five years as league president, overseeing nearly 1,200 young ballplayers.
