Joan Logan Volpato, 83, of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Versailles, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Life Care Center in Punta Gorda.

She was the daughter of James and Viola (nee Rodibaugh) Logan, born June 9, 1929, in McKeesport, Pa.

She was a retired mortgage clerk for Union National Bank in McKeesport, and a former member of Versailles United Methodist Church. Joan was a member of the American Legion 267 of Ligonier, Pa.’s Ladies Auxiliary, the BPOE 609 of Mount Pleasant, Pa.’s Ladies Auxiliary, and LOOM 777 of Punta Gorda.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, John of Punta Gorda; brother, Harry H. Logan of Ligonier and Punta Gorda; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lois Potemra.
