Rebecca Harris, 67, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

She was born in Presque Isle, Maine, Nov. 5, 1945.

Rebecca was a nurse in both Maine and Florida. She was passionate about bowling, and she also enjoyed traveling and horseback riding.

Surviving family members include her husband, Calvin of Port Charlotte; mother, Mable Tardy of Port Charlotte; son, Dana Halloran of North Port, Fla.; grandchildren, Devon Ireland and Rianna Halloran; and sisters, Mary Ann Lovely and Margaret Acker. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Tardy; and brother, Edwin Jr.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Venice Memorial Gardens in Venice, Fla.
