Ralph Hollis Moore

Ralph Hollis Moore, 71, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in Port Charlotte.

He was born June 8, 1941, in Miami, Fla., to Thomas Moore and Bernice Pendergrass Moore.

Ralph came to Port Charlotte from Palm Beach County, Fla., in 1984. He was a retired construction superintendent, and was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Diane Moore of Port Charlotte; son, John (Beverly) Kingsbury of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Lana (Greg) Schatzman of Auburndale, Fla., and Cricket (Daney) Darnell of Baytown, Texas; brother, Jerry (Karen) David of Port Charlotte; sister, Diane (Roger) Lescrynski, also of Port Charlotte; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the services at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte. Burial will follow at Charlotte Harbor Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238.
