Florence Marie Eckles was called away by the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

She was born on September 8, 1925 to Aurore and Bernadette Vandal.

She was one of twelve children. Florence lived her entire life in Woonsocket, RI before moving to Port Charlotte ten years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile whenever she met anyone. Florence had many hobbies that kept her busy as well as her trips to Rhode Island to visit her sisters, Anna and Alice Tellier, as well as her trips to Las Vegas with her daughter.

Florence was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Thomas Sanzalone; her grandchildren, Theresa Sanzalone and Angela (David) Simon, as well as her great grandchild, Alexandria.
