Larry Alan Davis, 70, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte.

He was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Ferndale, Mich.

Larry worked as a mechanic for many years, before retiring and moving to Florida. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Sharon E. Davis of Port Charlotte; son, Larry A. Davis of Punta Gorda, Fla.; stepsons, Robert J. Gibbons and Kevin D. Gibbons, both of Richmond, Mich.; sister, Linda Smith of Arizona; brother, Carl Davis of Georgia; and nine grandchildren.
