CCU unresponsive
to customer inquiry
Editor:
I am not a happy camper. The reason? I recently smelled like one just returned from weekend overnight in the Everglades in August. During the recent “boil water” crisis, I emailed CCU, posing the question if it was permissible to shower during the “boil water” advisory. I’m still awaiting a reply. Without an answer from the CCU authorities, I decided to throw caution to the wind and bathed. My logic, better to succumb to a bacterial infection than to lose lifelong friends and neighbors with smell sensitivities. Perhaps the CCU bean counters will, in the future, provide sufficient public-notice budget appropriations. This to keep all those affected in a water crisis as to what is going on, where, when, how and options. Can’t find fault with CCU total inefficiency. My water bills arrive punctually each month.
