People from all over the area celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by donning green clothing, chowing down on corned beef and cabbage and, of course, copiously consuming alcohol.

North Americans have been celebrating the most commonly recognized of Irish patron saints since the late 18th century, and Sunday was no different. Residents of all ages ventured out to local bars to honor their Irish heritage, while others just used it as an excuse to drink.
