ARCADIA — After the first inning Tuesday night, Port Charlotte High School coach Rod Taylor didn’t think his team’s season opener would take very long.
Two and half hours later, the game ended with DeSoto County up 16-8 after a full seven innings. Taylor was proud the game went late.
