Wildflower a leader in tarpon research, habitat restoration

BOCA GRANDE — Lemon Bay Conservancy’s Wildflower Preserve in Englewood is on the cutting edge of tarpon research and habitat restoration.

“Believe it or not, (Wildflower) is the first-ever project to restore juvenile tarpon habitat,” said Dr. Aaron Adams, who is conducting tarpon research at Wildflower.
