BRADENTON — North Port High School started the Hurricane Invitational at Manatee on the right foot Friday. The boys 4x800 meter relay team rallied on the middle legs to win the day’s first event.

The Bobcats never looked back. The boys led the team standings the entire night and won with 183.5 points, 50 points ahead of second-place Riverview.
