PORT CHARLOTTE — Senior midfielder Sara Monzeglio expressed some satisfaction with her team’s play in a 2-0 loss to Braden River.
“I wish things had gone more in our favor,” Monzeglio said. “I’m really proud of the defense. We stayed really strong. The centers held. The forwards made some pretty good runs and good crosses, so I’m happy with it.”
