ENGLEWOOD EAST — Authorities say a woman stabbed a man near her home early Tuesday morning and then left him to fend for himself, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Melissa Joanne Hughell, 35, of the 10300 block of Kidron Ave., was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
