Chester A. Corron

Chester A. Corron, 48, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in Port Charlotte.

He was born Sept. 21, 1964, in Aurora, Minn., to Frank Corron and Hilda Hector Corron.

Chester came to Port Charlotte from Aurora, Minn., in 1978. He was a POD assistant for Nielsen Research Media Group located in Nokomis, Fla., for 15 years and of the Lutheran Faith.

He is survived by his mother, Hilda Corron of Port Charlotte; two sons, Frank Corron of Oregon and Cordell Corron of Port Charlotte; two sisters, Frankie (Larry) Beamer of Wichita, Kan., and Elsie (Ben) Leffel of Wakefield, Mich.; his significant other, Ginger Emerson and her two sons, Dennis and Dylan; his brother in heart, Lynn Brock; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Chester was preceded in death by his father, Frank; and his sister, Sally Baker.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Hope Lutheran Church, 14500 Hopewell Ave., in Gulf Cove. Inurnment will be at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte. Please visit the online tribute for Chester A. Corron at www.kays-ponger.com
