Patricia R. Giordano, 69, Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.

She was born March 8, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area in 2002 from St. Petersburg, Fla.

Patricia was an artist. She was a member of the Visual Arts Center, and was named Artist of the Month several years by the Arts & Humanities Council.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Fran; sons, Fran (Melissa) of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., and Ed (Laurie) of Fort Myers, Fla.; brother, Tim (Mary Pat) Higgins of Lafayette Hills, Pa.; and grandchildren, Conner, Nicholas, Vanessa and Zachary.

A celebration of life will be held in Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children, 1800 JFK Blvd., Suite 1550, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, Fla.
