Deegan, Denison get first victory

PORT CHARLOTTE — Denison baseball coach Mike Deegan was familiar with Wheaton (Mass.).
As an assistant last year with Marietta, Deegan saw how well-coached the team was when the Pioneers defeated the Lyons in the Division III College World Series.
