Zombie walk, picnic, pub crawl planned in Englewood

Becca Joyce, Terri Brashear and Summer Craddok channel their inner zombies at the 2011 Englewood Zombie Walk. This years event is planned for Friday, Oct. 26 with a picnic and games for kids at 5 p.m. at Indian Mound Park, followed by a Zombie Walk and for adults, a Zombie Pub Crawl.

ENGLEWOOD — Zombie walks attract thousands of lurching fans dripping fake blood from ghastly looking trauma wounds in towns and cities around the U.S. because, Fawn Brashear says, zombies are cool.
Brashear, a working mother of two Myakka River Elementary School students, is planning a zombie walk, picnic and pub crawl Oct. 26 in Englewood.
