The hammering is done. Except for a few punch list items like adjusting locks and touching up paint, the renovations at the Polk State Lake Wales Arts Center are complete. An unexpected roofing repair has made the building stronger than ever before in its more than 80-year history.

The public is invited to see the improvements at a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Polk State President Eileen Holden on Thursday, March 21 from 3-5 p.m.
