Women’s Care Center in need now

Responding to the need that The Women's Care Center is in more need than usual for supplies, the Bartow Kiwanis Club responded by donating $1,000 to the organization. A presentation was made last week to Executive Director Mary Smith, center, and house mother Mary Dailey. Presenting the check for Kiwanis is Kiwanis President Craig Burke.
The Women’s Care Center for the second year in a row is in more desperate need for help than it has been and people there don’t know why.
“Last year we were in the same situation with our funds running out,” Lisa Ollinger, the president of the organization said.
