Brooke battery sparks Mantas

ENGLEWOOD — Lemon Bay High School’s softball team is starting the season hungry to surpass what it accomplished in 2012.
The Manta Rays opened the season Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory over Riverview as senior pitcher Brooke Carvey threw a complete-game victory.
