PUNTA GORDA — With just more than five minutes left to play Thursday, students in the stands at Charlotte High School began to discuss rushing the field if the Tarpons held their 1-0 lead.

As injury time began and the full stadium waited eagerly for the final whistle, students on the sidelines also starting talking about running onto the pitch.
