Jason L. Knight, 35, of North Port, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.

He was born June 30, 1977, in La Mesa, Calif., and moved to this area in 2003 from Louisville, Ky.

Jason was a Cell Tower Technician, and he served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Knight; parents, Ronnie and Debbie Knight; sisters, Melanie (Mike) DeLuca and Ronda Knight; two nieces; and one nephew.

Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, March 2, 2013, starting at Ms Rascals, 1182 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronnie or Debbie Knight, 5267 Weatherton Street, North Port, FL 34288, to help with expenses and for a trust fund for Katherine.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
