Fannette Dorine Ohl

Fannette Dorine (nee Pick) Ohl, 91, of North Port, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in Sarasota, Fla.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, Nov. 17, 1921, to Grace and Charles Pick.

Fannette was a loving mother to Charles and William, and a matriarch to many. She was a longtime employee of the Eaton Corporation/American Monorail in Cleveland, Ohio, and Greenville, N.C. Fannette was an elder at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in North Port, and was involved in many activities in the community.

A memorial service commemorating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5550 S. Sumter Blvd., North Port. Her remains are to be scattered in the memorial garden at St. Paul’s.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte, Fla.
