Fire Rescue fighting breast cancer with shirt sales

North Port Fire Rescue is selling both long- and short-sleeve T-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Firefighters and EMTs are allowed to wear the short-sleeved version of the shirts while on duty throughout the month of October.

NORTH PORT — This month, members of North Port Fire Rescue are wearing some slightly different shirts while on duty, and members of the public have the opportunity to buy them, too.
Sponsored by the North Port Firefighters Benevolent Association, Fire Rescue employees will wear black and pink T-shirts for breast cancer awareness throughout October.
