ENGLEWOOD — A 250-pound-plus adult male loggerhead sea turtle in an advanced state of decay washed up on Manasota Key Sunday, one of four recovered in the past week in Sarasota County.
The cause of death wasn’t apparent and it may never be known, but red tide has not been ruled out.
