NORTH PORT — Members of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church want to help the community learn more about their Serbian culture. To do that, they will soon be holding their third annual Serbian Food Festival March 2-3.

“We feel a part of this community and want to just share our culture with the rest of (North Port),” said Mara Cucuz, event coordinator. “That’s really what it’s all about. Personally, I feel North Port has done such a wonderful job of sharing the different cultural experiences of the various Eastern European communities. … It’s kind of like a little melting pot, which I really love.”
