VENICE — Teacher Diana O’Neill will keep her job with the Sarasota County School District, under a new ruling by an arbitrator.

It’s the end of a long line of legal battles dating back to 2008 for the district, which tried to fire O’Neill, who was a party to two other arbitrations and a criminal child-abuse trial.
