SARASOTA COUNTY — Representatives from all 67 of Florida’s counties are taking part in the annual Florida Association of Counties Legislative Conference this week in Sarasota, which could help shape the governments’ future direction.

The event has two major themes: “Putting Florida to Work” and “Keeping Florida Local.” The latter of the two themes focuses on the overall goal of the FAC.
