Representatives from the History Channel reality television show “American Pickers,” which explores the world of antique “picking,” will be in the region next week and the following week scouting for leads — interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them.

Cristin Cricco-Powell of Cineflix, which produces the series, said the “favorite picks feature multiple buildings crammed with loads of cool stuff. We love for our hosts (Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz) to really work for what they find, digging through piles and coming up with treasure.
