Campaign signs are disappearing

An Obama sign is defaced with a sticker for infowars.com, a website maintained by conservative talk show host Alex Jones. Members of the North Port Democratic Club have reported Obama/Biden signs are disappearing and being replaced with Romney/Ryan signs in the same location.
NORTH PORT — Numerous Obama/Biden campaign signs in the city have been replaced with ones for Romney/Ryan.
Over the weekend, camps for Democratic candidates Keith Fitzgerald for District 16 U.S. representative and John Torraco, running for state attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit, also reported knocked-down signs. Someone also placed a couple of empty chairs near Obama signs, referencing Clint Eastwood’s spoof on the president at the Republican National Convention.
