Report: Women busted for making meth
VENICE — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested two females on drug charges Wednesday night after a woman reported that her houseguest and a friend were making methamphetamine.
Deputies were called to the Falkland Road home in Venice just before 9 p.m. when the woman who lived there returned home and found Kelly Rose Rosier, 28, and Courtney M. Delaney, 21, both of the 400 block of Chambers St., Port Charlotte, cooking meth, an SCSO report shows. Deputies discovered a makeshift setup used to make the drug, dirty syringes and other items required to manufacture the drug. Rosier was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer; Delaney, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Rosier remained at the Sarasota Jail Thursday on $870 bond; Delaney was released after posting $1,120 bond.
