Big Band tribute to

San Francisco

A USO Tour Tribute to San Francisco will be presented by the Charlotte County Big Band, under the direction of John A. Johnson on Monday evening, Jan. 28. The performance will take place in the theater of the Cultural Center of Charlotte County, 2280 Aaron Street, Port Charlotte at
7 p.m.

The two-hour show will feature music honoring the City of San Francisco, plus vocalist Chris Brown will sing “How High The Moon,” Ed Toscano singing “San Francisco, Open Your Golden Gate,” and Fred Capitelli singing “I Left My Heart In San Francisco.” The L.A. Ainger Middle School Jazz Ensemble will also perform and receive 50 percent of the 50/50 drawing.
