Film festival celebrates the ‘human connection’

Venice Interfaith Association's 2013 Film Festival will feature five films shown on consecutive Mondays from Jan. 21 through Feb. 18 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice.
Venice Interfaith Community Association’s 2013 film festival selected five films to help viewers “understand each other with our hearts as well as our eyes.”
The first, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” is an Oscar-winning film featuring Gregory Peck as a white lawyer defending a black man in a small southern town in which racism reigns, It was presented Jan. 21, which happened to be Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
