‘1776’ opens Asolo season

Embarking on a five-year study of the character of America, the Asolo Repertory Theatre opens its season with the musical “1776.”

“We’re fellow explorers,” Asolo Rep’s artistic director Michael Donald Edwards said. “Everything we are presenting this year is connected to this idea.”
