Register now for the Highlander Softball Camp, which takes place June 10-14.
The camp is for girls, ages 7-12, and the cost is $50 per camper, and includes the T-shirt.
Camp will run from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Campers are to report to Don Ramsay Field at Lake Wales High School, Monday through Friday mornings between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Bring cleats, glove, bat, tennis shoes (mandatory). It is worthy to note that tennis shoes are mandatory for batting cages.
Camp enrollment is limited to about 50 participants. Early registration is strongly suggested.

Players must have a medical clearance from the player’s doctor. Each camper is responsible for her own personal injury insurance.
Denton says the camp is designed to teach young players as well as to increase the skill levels of the more experienced players. Campers will be instructed in the following areas: Infield play, Outfield Play, Bunting, Sliding, Hitting and Baserunning, Pitching and Catching.
The Highlander Softball Camp will be staffed by Nancy Denton, head coach; the coaching staff of the Lake Wales High School Highlander Softball team; Tiffany Upchurch, softball player from Warner University; Highlander players from the 2013 State Championship Team and Junior Varsity Highlander players.
All proceeds will go to the Highlander Softball Team.
